About joy connection
Our main goal is to provide a welcoming space for families to connect, create, and play. We know how hard life can be as a parent/guardian, the last thing you should be worrying about is where to go when you leave the house. You and your little ones deserve a home away from home. We want the children to find their spark and inspire joy through play, and we want to give the parents somewhere they can relax with a good cup of coffee and a slice of cake, where they can meet other parents, and revel in the joy of the children.

“I have always felt a connection with creativity, it brings me the most simple pleasure of joy. I sang and danced throughout my youth, this developed into a career of Musical Theatre where lucky is was enough to work as a performer.
I reached a point in my life when the want for babies bubbled up to the surface and I have since been blessed with two little beans of my own. I adore being a mum to my two little seeds, it is a forever changing experience which comes with many highs, lows and challenges in-between!!
Motherhood gave birth to a new love for creativity. As I played and explored our world through the eyes of my little ones I came to realise how much creativity has done for me. This realisation has slowly but very surely manifested into the creation of ‘Pint Sized Playtime’.
I have been running my ‘Pint Sized Playtime’ sessions since September of twenty two, and have been so lucky to have so many wonderful parents and children booking up my sessions, to the point where me and Hanny decided to create JOY CONNECTION to host even more sessions and help even more families find their creativity.”

“Being a freelance illustrator has brought me so mcuh joy and knowledge in the past few years, but I’ve realised that it isn’t enough for me anymore. After working in the customer service industry for over eight years, I have realised my true passion is bringing joy to others, helping them find what they need, and connecting them to their OWN creativity.
Meeting Nicki was like a kickstart to my heart, I could see so clearly the wonderful things we were going to create together right from the start, we even dabbled in making a children’s book!
Figuring out that we both wanted to help more people in the same way was when the fun really began. We started working towards making JOY CONNECTION a reality november of twenty two, and have since been wokring our booties off making sure that we get everything right, and we get as many beautiful souls on board as possible.
Creating art isn’t for money, it isn’t only for ‘talented’ people, anyone can create and feel the joy of creating, there should never be any restrictions to that feeling.”
